Spring.
Spring is a beautiful time to visit the city - if you've never been to the birthplace of Claude Monet and Catherine Deneuve before, we recommend starting your visit in late March or April. However, the weather is still unstable in March, with the possibility of "surprises" in the form of frosts or, on the contrary, premature thaws.
The real spring comes in April, when the air warms up to +16-18°C, gardens and parks bloom and even a few rainy days a week can't spoil the atmosphere. Another reason to visit Paris in spring is the Day of the Paris Commune on March 18, the Champs-Elysees parade in May and the Night of the Museums.
Summer.
From June to August, the city enjoys comfortable temperatures of +19-24°C and a refreshing breeze. Although you should check the weather in summer Paris every 3 days - showers and thunderstorms are possible.
Autumn.
The first half of fall is very warm - temperatures do not fall below +16°C, in September the weather resembles that of May. From November onwards, you should check the weather in Paris for a week in advance - the first frosts begin and freezing winds blow.
Winter.
Paris winters are warm and wet - the first snow falls (if at all) in January, with minimum temperatures never dropping below 1-2°C. Is it worth going to Paris in winter? We definitely recommend visiting the city at Christmas - of course, it's peak season, but you'll never forget the burning lights of the Champs Elysees, the markets on the Boulevard Saint-Germain or under the Montparnasse tower, and the snowy alleys of the Bois de Boulogne!
When is it cheaper to go to Paris?
There is no typical "low" season in Paris - its streets are always crowded with tourists from all over the world. However, in November and the first half of December, as well as at the end of January and February, the flow eases, the city becomes relatively quiet and prices drop by 10-15%.
