"In the footsteps of Amelie."

If you still haven't seen the Amélie movie, we recommend you to do it right now - it's the most Parisian of all modern movies. Well, if you're already in Paris, we'll take a walk along the Amélie Pullen route!

Let's start at Lamarck-Caulaincourt station - this is where all the subway scenes in the movie were filmed. For example, here Amelie brought a blind man before meeting Nino, and here she saw a stranger from the photo booth. True, in the movie the station was called Abessess - look for clues in the 35th minute of the movie.

We continue our walking route around Paris - from the station we turn right and follow Rue Lamarck to Rue Saint Vincent. We reach its intersection with Rue de Saules and see the very place where the fly landed at the very beginning of the movie. It's a colorful view, isn't it?

To find Amelie's house, from Abessess station go to Rue la Vieuville, go to the intersection with Rue des Trois Freres and find house #56. After the movie it was called "Amélie's house".

Here the protagonist watched the news about the death of Princess Diana, here she found the stash of a strange boy and decided to interfere in the lives of strangers by all means.

It's a short walk to the next point on our Paris tourist itinerary - here it is, right next to Amelie's house. The Chez Ali store, where it's so nice to dip your hand into a bean bag! We repeat Amélie's morning route and head to the Two Mills bar at Rue Lepic, 15 - today there is a café where you can have a very overpriced cup of espresso.

But we'll do without coffee and continue our route around Paris with a trip to the cinema - after leaving the "Two Mills", turn left and walk along Rue Tholoze to the house №10, there is a cinema Studio 28 (here Amelie looked at the faces of the audience). Well, and a worthy end of the walk will be a trip to any coffee house in Paris - order a crème brûlée, breaking its appetizing crust with a spoon.
