The warmest sea in the resort is from June to early October (about +25°C). From the second half of October the sea gradually cools down, and in November the temperature is +20-21°C.
In winter, the temperature in the Aegean Sea drops to +10-14°C.
In early June, the water temperature in the Aegean Sea is already high enough to open a full beach season, enjoying the beauty of the bright blue sea, golden sand and picturesque landscapes. So at the beginning of May you can happily tell your friends: "I'm going to Kardamena!".
But the tides in the Aegean Sea at Kardamena are practically not felt (the change in water level on the coast is a few centimeters), and the water near the coast has a bright turquoise shade and a high degree of transparency.
