  • Intercity bus system (KTEL)

The KTEL bus system offers convenient and affordable transportation between cities. While the staff may not always speak English, you can easily get assistance from local youths if needed.

  • City buses

City buses are available in most major cities in the country. In Athens, you can purchase three-day and seven-day tickets for 20 and 50 EUR, respectively.

  • Ferries and Boats
  1. You can access the Aegean islands by sea from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina.
  2. The islands of the Ionian Sea can be reached from the port of Killini, located in the northwest of the Peloponnese.
  3. For the islands of the Ionian Sea, you can also use the ports of Piraeus and Rafina.

  6. For trips to Athens airport between 5:00 AM and midnight, there's a fixed fare of 35 EUR (50 EUR during nighttime hours).
  • Air Taxi

Small airplanes, typically accommodating up to four people, are sometimes used for short-distance flights in Greece. Tickets for these flights can be purchased at private airline ticket offices located at airports.
