- The Theater of Dionysus: This huge open-air theater used to attract thousands of residents of Athens, eager to see the tragedies of Aeschylus and Sophocles.
- The Temple of Olympia: When this city was the cradle of the Olympic Games dedicated to the gods. Nowadays, only the ruins of the temples of Zeus and Hera remain from the sanctuaries here.
