This is where the most exciting part of the journey begins, as tourists get to try various types of transport. After the plane, switch to a taxi or bus, and in the final stage — a boat. Small ferries will take you to Capri in 30–40 minutes.
From Capodichino Airport, you’ll need to get to the Molo Beverello port. It’s not difficult: take the Alibus from the stop near Terminal 1. The fare is 5 EUR, and your stop is Piazza Municipio. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport for 25–30 EUR.
Once at Molo Beverello, buy a ticket for a high-speed ferry for 23–26 EUR, and in less than an hour you’ll be enjoying the beauty of Capri.
Tip for travelers on a budget: ferries also depart from Naples’ second port — Calata di Massa — with cheaper tickets from 16 EUR. You can get there by first arriving at Molo Beverello and then taking a free shuttle.
If you’re traveling to Capri from Rome, plan at least three hours for the journey. First, take the Leonardo Express train from the airport to the main railway station. From there, take a regular train to Naples. Options vary: the price depends on travel time. The fastest and most expensive takes 1 hour and costs 45 EUR; a slower one — 2 hours for 25 EUR; the longest — about 4 hours for 15 EUR. After that, transfer to a ferry from one of Naples' ports.
