One of the main sites that all tourists seek to visit is the National Park. Here you can see giraffes, lions, antelopes, black rhinos, buffalo, elephants, crocodiles and all kinds of birds. Everyone who has been on safari in Nairobi, necessarily "bring" these sights on the photo, where behind the grazing animals can be seen the buildings of the metropolis. The cost of visiting the park is KES 7950 per person (half the price for children).
While exploring other Nairobi attractions, you will see House-Museum (farm) of Danish writer Karen Blixen. It is in her honor that an adjacent quarter of the capital is named after her.
A description of Nairobi's attractions would be incomplete without including local places of worship: Hindu temples, Muslim mosques, Catholic cathedrals. The Holy Family Cathedral and the white-washed Priday Mosque deserve special attention.
When you visit the central square where the Parliament building stands, you'll see the tomb (mausoleum) of Kenya's first president, Jomo Kenyatta - it's also marked on Nairobi's sightseeing map. Except that it's forbidden to take pictures of it - it's considered sacrilege here.
Other interesting sights in Nairobi: National Museum, Railway Museum, Uhuru Park, August 7 Memorial Park.
