To get used to the mountainous terrain faster, you should buy a map of the ski slopes of Kranjska Gora. Like all ski resorts, this one on the map has similar designations and markings. The main thing you need to know is the locations of pistes of varying difficulty and elevators.
In total, there are more than 20 km of pistes on the territory of the ski resort. Half of them are intended for beginner skiers, another 40% are medium difficulty pistes marked in blue color. They are suitable for more confident skiing on the slopes and are designed for experienced skiers. Only 10% of all slopes can be classified as difficult. This means that the region is more suitable for couples and groups of people who are just starting to learn to ski.
As in all Slovenian ski resorts, the map of Kranjska Gora shows the number and locations of the main elevators, the highest point and the lowest station. Ski equipment rentals, rest areas, medical stations and parking lots are marked separately.
