Marbella has a lot of active entertainment for adults and children. Golf is the most popular here. The Costa del Sol is considered the champion of Spain in the number of golf courses - sometimes the province is even jokingly called the Costa del Golf.
One of the most popular golf clubs in the Valley of Golf is Aloha Golf Club with beautiful views of La Concha Peak, Atalaya Golf & Country Club near San Pedro de Alcantara, Los Naranjos Golf Club with an excellent Scandinavian restaurant and others.
Many local companies offer to organize vacations such as trekking, canyoning, climbing La Concha mountain or safaris.
The most popular amusement park in Marbella is the huge Aventura Amazonia. It is located just 500 meters from the beach - about a hundred obstacles, routes for beginners, as well as special areas for small children (4-7 years old) are waiting for visitors. And if you find yourself in Marbella at Christmas, be sure to buy a lottery ticket El Cordo - every year, on December 22, 90% of Spaniards hope to win the main prize (several million euros, by the way).
Marbella's nightlife is intense, but the best place to spend an evening is in one of the hundreds of local bars. For example, The Sinatra Bar (in addition to cocktails, it boasts a great view of the harbor), David's Place (especially popular in winter - it has a large fireplace), Barrocco Bar (great beer and tapas) or Harmons Bar (an Irish pub with a very warm atmosphere). After a couple or three cocktails it's time to head to Marbella's best nightclubs - Funky Budda or disco Olivia Valere.
