It is possible to get to Salou from Reus airport:
- by car - the fastest and easiest way to get to Salou is via the P7 international toll highway;
- by bus transfer. Using the services of Plana, you can get a seat on a comfortable bus that will take you there for just 7 EUR. There's no charge for children under 4 years old;
- By regular bus. The journey to Salou takes 45 minutes and costs around 5 EUR;
- -by cab. The cost of such a trip will be about 18 EUR.
It is possible to get to Salou from El Prat airport (Barcelona):
- by car, using the toll and free routes. Toll roads cost about 15 EUR and take about 1 hour to get to Salou (adjusted for the speed limit allowed on the selected highway);
- using a bus transfer from Plana. The cost per seat in a modern, comfortable bus is 15 EUR, children under 4 years old are free. Buses run from 6:00 (spring) or 10:00 (winter) until 23:00. The trip takes less than 2 hours;
- by train. First take a suburban train or shuttle (terminal T1) to Barcelona-Sans station, then buy a ticket for the regional Renfe train that will take you to Salou. For the schedule of these trains, see the site. The first train to Salou leaves at around 5:45 and the last train leaves at 20:46. The trip costs about 9 EUR and lasts about 1.5 hours. Long-distance express trains will get you to Salou faster, but the ticket will cost more than 20 EUR;
- by cab. The cost of a 100-kilometer one-hour trip will be about 200 EUR. Cab drivers work strictly by meter. It is not customary to "look into the pocket" of a passenger in anticipation of a tip. There are no fixed amounts that should be "tipped" over the meter, so as not to be considered greedy. However, a driver will not refuse to leave a few euros as a thank you.
It is forbidden to ride intercity buses standing up. If the bus is full and there are passengers on the platform with pre-purchased tickets, the company will send an extra bus.
