A map of Salou with sights and a map of Salou beaches are almost identical. Locals love unusual monuments. Here you can find bizarre constructions by modern masters and various fish sculptures that even a child can understand.
More citizens love fountains, which are marked on all schemes of Salou with attractions. They can be seen not only in the city streets, but even in the coastal sea waters. No tourist itinerary in Salou is without a visit to a fountain.
The name of Salou's most famous attraction is Port Aventura. It is one of Europe's largest amusement parks and is a fun place for kids and adults alike. The park is divided into 6 thematic zones. There is a separate area for the youngest visitors to Salou.

Salou's most famous sights, whose photos are taken by almost all tourists:
Torre Vella de Salou. Built in 1530 for protection from pirates, the Old Tower is now the cultural center of the city. It is located near the railroad station.
Font Lluminosa. Walking routes in Salou always pass through area Francesc Germà Sanz, where there is a luminous fountain that amazes tourists with 210 combinations of jets and intertwined light rays.
Fuente Cibernética. The singing fountain is set at the end of King Jaime I Boulevard. In the evenings it hosts impressive show programs, and descriptions of this Salou attraction in Russian are as common as praise for the city's chic beaches.
Most of Salou's hiking trails take you past Casa Bonet, a 1918 villa built by the great Antoni Gaudí's pupil. Tourists are not allowed inside the villa, but you can admire the beautiful late Art Nouveau building and take photos through the wrought iron grille.
Many of Salou's walking routes start or end at the seafront. The most beautiful walk in Salou is along the palm-fringed King Jaime I Boulevard, which runs along the town's central beach.
