First of all, tourists in Salou are attracted by the beaches. The most popular and longest of them is Playa de Levante, where there are playgrounds, showers, bars, restaurants and parking lots. Playa Llarga is considered to be the most beautiful beach in the resort, it is surrounded by pine trees on all sides and is separated from the noisy neighborhoods by a walking zone. Playa de Capellans is a small beach surrounded by cliffs and has a long, steep staircase down to it (so there are usually few tourists). Playa de Ponent is ideal for vacation with children, here is a gentle and safe entrance to the sea.
If your soul asks for active rest and extreme, look into Port Aventura - one of the best amusement parks in Europe. On its territory you will find dozens of attractions for adults and children, water park Costa Caribe, children's park Bosc Aventura with rope courses and paintball fields, Adrenaline Park, where you can ride go-karts, and golf club Lumine.
For walking Salou residents and visitors choose the Boulevard of King Jaime I the Conqueror, where in the evenings begin to work musical fountains with spectacular illumination. Many popular bars, restaurants and souvenir stores are also located here.
