How to get to the city center
San Antonio Abad is located 20 kilometers from the airport. You can reach this resort by bus. It takes about 30 minutes by cab, shuttle or rental car.
Bus
The ALSA-L9 bus runs from the airport to San Antonio. It follows the route: Airport - San Jose - San Antonio. For all relevant information on bus services, visit the website.
Where to find the stop: the bus station is located near the terminal exit.
Trip time: 45 minutes.
Operation hours: from 07:00 to 00:00 in June, September and October; and from 07:00 to 02:00 in July and August.
Fare: 4 EUR. You can buy a ticket from the driver.
Transfer

Taxis
Be vigilant - cab drivers at the airport love to scam gullible tourists. In peak season it's quite difficult to get a cab, you can stand in the heat for a long time. The stop is near the terminal exit.
Cost: about 60-70 EUR. Fares:
Weekdays from 07:00 to 21:00 - 1.09 EUR / kilometer, demurrage surcharge - 19.58 EUR / hour;
Weekdays from 21:00 to 07:00 - 1,33 EUR / kilometer, demurrage fee - 23,98 EUR / hour.
Taxi fares:
1 kilometer of road - 3.65 EUR on weekends and holidays.
If you land at the airport, you pay extra 1.8 EUR.

Car rental
If you want to explore the beauty of the island at a leisurely pace, rent a car. It's best to book a car online (e.g. rentalcars) before you arrive on the island, as there are always queues at the rental desks at the airport. In addition, the selection of cars is limited when the number of tourists is high.

How to get to the bus and train station

There is no rail service on the island.
