The Mediterranean Sea that surrounds Ibiza is one of the warmest and saltiest seas in the world, with high water clarity and a deep blue color. The tides do not exceed 1 meter and in winter the waves can sometimes reach up to 68 meters high.
The water temperature in the Mediterranean Sea in May is still quite cool at +18°C, and in June rises to +22°C. In turn, in July, August and September the temperature of the Mediterranean Sea warms up to +26°C.
