Tuk-tuk taxis
Perhaps this small, two-seater vehicle is the most popular in the city. They are constantly touring around Pattaya.
The only downside to the tuk-tuk is the terrible antisanitary and cramped conditions.
Fare
A trip on this form of public transportation will cost a vacationer only 5 THB.
Songthaew
The locals call this transportation "baht bus". It is the most spacious bus in the resort. It runs throughout the city and beyond.
Price per ticket
To ride a "baht bus" you'll have to shell out from 5 to 10 THB. If you need to go out of town, be prepared to pay a lot more - around 100 THB.
Motobike
Motobike is also popular among tourists and Thais. You can rent it and go exploring the resort on your own for adventure.

The motorcycle ride is 28 THB per person.
Local Taxi
Taxis in Pattaya can be hailed to your hotel, anywhere in the city, at any time of the day or night. The car is air-conditioned and quite comfortable.

A cab ride can be had for a very decent amount of 55-160 THB.
Pattaya Van Minibus
The Pattaya Van company is a subsidiary of the Roong Reuang Coach carrier. They have been providing transportation from Pattaya to Bangkok or vice versa since 1988. You can book transportation online or contact the company by phone. They can help you decide on the route, fare or find the right stop.

Transportation departs every 15 minutes from 06:00 to 20:00.
- Transfer cost
to and from Bangkok is about 100 THB.
- Travel time
It takes 2-2.5 hours to get there. It depends on how busy the highway is with cars.

- The intersection of Sukhumvit Road and Central Street
The stop is located 200 meters away from North Street. It is located in the building of a gasoline station called Bangchak Gas Station.
- South Street
It is opposite a building called "Raja Maritime School".
Bus routes
- Transfer transportation from hotel to airport or vice versa (Pattaya, Bangkok).
- Pick up from North Bus Terminal (Pattaya) and drop off at three bus terminals in neighboring Bangkok: Mochit, South Bus Terminal and Ekamai.
- Transfers from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the Thappraya Street (Pattaya) bus terminal.
As you can see, you shouldn't have any problems with transportation in the resort. You can easily choose your own route to get around Pattaya and beyond.
