Monastir
Monastir is another fairly quiet place. The resort area here is out of the city and is called Skanes. The beaches of Skanes are 6 km and there are also opportunities to go sailing, scuba diving or learn to ride at the riding school. The nightlife in Monastir is not particularly vibrant, with a few discos and restaurants in the center, and that's about it.
Kerkenna
If you're after seclusion and deserted beaches, then the Kerkenna archipelago is your destination. The islands are only 20km from Sfax, which can easily be reached by hired boat. The islands are picturesque and secluded, with little infrastructure yet, and will delight lovers of solitude and wildlife.
Sousse
Sousse offers excellent beaches, a variety of thalassotherapy centers and a vibrant nightlife.
