How to get to the city center
To get into the city from the air station, you can take a bus, subway, cab, shuttle, or rental car. Travel time is about 20 minutes.
Public Transportation
Public transportation at the airport is represented by buses and metro.
Bus
A bus is the cheapest mode of transportation. It is very comfortable and clean. There are buses numbered 448, 459 and CT3 to the city. Also, there is a free bus (SL1) from the airport to South Station and it runs until midnight. The official Massachusetts Public Transportation website has lots of useful information.
Where to Find: Stops are located near the exits of each terminal.
Trip time: 20 - 25 minutes.

Time of operation:Buses run around the clock at 15-20 minute intervals.

Metro
The fastest way to get around. The blue line runs into the city. For a subway map, see here. There is no subway at the airport itself, but a free shuttle bus runs to it every hour. Stops are located in all terminals on the first floor.
Transfer
Transfer is the most comfortable way to get to Boston. The driver will be waiting for you at the airport exit. You can book a transfer on the KiwiTaxi website.

Taxi
Taxi stands can be found at the exit of the airport terminal.
Cost: from 20 USD per car (1-3 passengers).
Car Rental
If you want to see the sights of the city in detail without using public transportation, rent a car. You must have an international driver's license and at least 2 years of driving experience.

How to get to the bus and train station
Boston is home to two train stations, South and North. South Station is the largest train station in the state. It also has a bus station and a subway. It can be reached by the SL1 bus. It is a free bus and the journey will take 20 minutes.
North Station is the second largest and is located next to Boston's Italian neighborhood, "Little Italy". You can get to North Station by taking the subway shuttle from the airport. You need the blue line (Bowdoin direction), get off at the station - State Street. Jump on the orange line to Oak Grove and you are at North Station. The journey will take you 30 minutes.
