The city is divided into several districts, the most famous of which are Downtown (expensive hotels, business centers and fashionable boutiques), Santa Monica (beaches, bars, restaurants and music clubs), Beverly Hills and Hollywood (home to the country's richest people) and Malibu (a paradise with very expensive real estate).
Fans of American cinema should visit the Dolby Theater, where the annual Academy Awards ceremony is held. Also do not miss the opportunity to be photographed next to the star of your favorite actor on the "Walk of Stars" in Hollywood. It is not excluded that you will meet your idol in one of the restaurants or clubs, because in the "City of Angels" everything is possible!
There are many interesting museums, such as Madame Tussauds waxwork collection and the Museum of Modern Art. There are also more unusual collections: the Velveteria Museum, where velvet paintings are presented, or the Museum of Death, whose exposition is devoted to such unpleasant things as blood, serial killers and sacrifices.
Little visitors to Los Angeles won't be bored either. When swimming in the ocean gets boring, you can spend a day at Disneyland or Universal Studios Entertainment Park, visit the zoo or oceanarium.
