But, regardless of the temperature of water in the South China Sea, the water near the shores of the resort always keeps a light emerald color. At the same time, the salinity of the sea is kept at the level of 32-34%, which is a very small indicator.
There are seasonal changes of surface water currents in the sea. In addition, tides are observed in the sea during the day. In some places the water goes quite a long distance. Sometimes the tides change the coastline by 6 meters.
