High-mountain luxury Lech is small and one of the most secure resorts in Austria. There are plenty of security guards and police officers keeping a close eye on order, and there are video cameras almost everywhere. Of course, you should be careful in public transportation, do not leave your valuables in plain sight. But otherwise it's a safe place.
Safety on the slopes is monitored by numerous rescue services. The elevators are constantly checked, fine-tuned and safe. All hotels, restaurants and clubs have their own security guards. The town is quite small, and it is impossible to get lost here, and transportation is reliable. In winter there may be traffic jams on the roads, it is worth keeping in mind, because Lech is located high in the mountains. But the snow blocks are quickly cleared and Lech is never cut off from the roads.
