Mountain skiing has always been a demanding activity, and is often considered an extreme sport. It's one thing to take a leisurely stroll across the plains, and quite another to ski down the steep slopes of an alpine mountain. For this, you'll probably need alpine skiing lessons, especially if you're new to the sport, or just want to become a pro.

You can easily learn the basics of alpine skiing, or improve your skills and qualifications.
The cost of learning to ski in Lech and the surrounding area is broadly in line with the whole of Arlberg, and depends largely on your choice. For example, one or two lessons will cost you 50 EUR. Group lessons cost up to 200 EUR per course, with no more than 3-4 people in the group, so you will be given the right amount of attention. There are at least 500 professional instructors working in Lech and nearby towns, both individually and in centralized schools that are world famous.
