Selden and the neighboring ski resorts of the Ötztal Valley have long since become the Mecca of world ski tourism. The ever-growing popularity of the resort is based not only on the high level of service, but also on the unusually high number of sunny days, which attract both piste enthusiasts and photo enthusiasts.
Beautiful photos can be taken not only in Sölden itself, but also in its surroundings. It is not even possible to admire such scenery as in the Ötztal valley, not even anywhere in the Alps. The valley has an incredible variety of landscapes: the plain is replaced by steep gorges with turbulent mountain streams, gorges are replaced by ancient glaciers. The amazing valley is surrounded by more than 90 peaks of three thousand meters, and some of them are even higher than 3400m.
The streets of Sölden also attract photo enthusiasts. Traditional Tyrolean architecture is juxtaposed with modern hotels and entertainment venues. If you go for a walk in Sölden, be sure to bring your camera to capture a snapshot of life in the town. Especially vivid are the photos of Selden at night. The zest of the location of the city - its elongation along the mountain road - creates a magnificent spectacle at night. You can also take photos in Sölden during night skiing or during the night skiing "Torchlight Descent".
