There is a bus stop in front of Terminal 2 which goes through the centre of Varna to the Golden Sands resort. It takes approximately 20 minutes to get by bus number 409 to the city centre (Varna Cathedral) and approximately 50 minutes to the Golden Sands resort. You can buy your ticket on the bus. You can also take this bus to other places in the city and to the resort of St. Constantine and Helena. The bus runs in 15 minutes from and to Terminal 2.
You can get to Albena from the airport by bus, which runs every half hour from 8 to 19.30. The bus stops at the Macedonian House, a famous landmark in Varna. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes and includes a stop at another resort town, Golden Sands. Tickets to Albena are cheap at just over 2 BGN. The shuttle bus arrives at the complex's bus stop, which is about 800 metres from the hotels and beach area.
