You can make your holiday in Albena not just a beach holiday, but an exciting and varied one. In summer, the resort becomes the epicentre of various celebrations and festivals. Musical performances of all kinds, exhibitions of young Bulgarian and foreign artists and theatre performances fill the space. On some evenings you can also visit the Variety Theatre.
At the close of the tourist season, the blogosphere becomes filled with reviews of holidays in Albena from those lucky enough to have experienced its festival season. The peak of these events is perhaps in the first half of summer. In June, Albena hosts the "Round Dance Festival," the "Fashion Fiesta in Albena," and the "Morning Star" Arts Festival, while in July the resort becomes the stage for the "Majorette Contest."
