The small, closed area of the resort means that the level of security in Albena is very high. In addition, the permit system here is quite strict and the perimeter is closely monitored by the police. Territory of the resort is well-guarded. The safety of you and your children while swimming from the towers is monitored by vigilant (sometimes even excessive) lifeguards.
Perhaps the main danger to holidaymakers can be posed by sudden natural disasters. However, experience shows that in such cases the local authorities act very smoothly and promptly.
To make sure nothing will spoil your stay in Albena, take two things into consideration:
- Study the exchange rates carefully: there may be a difference between the exchange rate on the street billboard and the one on the counter counter inside;
- do not drink tap water. Don't forget to buy bottled water and drink about 2-2.5 litres a day because it's hot.
