One of the advantages of the Borovets resort is the proximity of the city center to the main ski lifts. The most distant hotels are located 800-1500 m from the lifts, and skiers are provided with free shuttle buses that operate from 8 am until late in the evening.
Bus transportation connects Borovets with the neighboring town of Samokov. From there, you can reach Sofia, Plovdiv, or other destinations in Bulgaria. For a more comfortable journey, you can arrange a transfer from Sofia to Borovets. It is advisable to book this service in advance, especially during the high season.
The cost of a transfer from Sofia Airport will be 90 BGN for a car and 160 BGN for a minibus for 9-15 people. The transfer from Plovdiv will be more expensive, at 150 BGN and 200 BGN respectively.
