Beaches in Limassol

At first glance, the beaches of Limassol may seem rather unsightly and even dirty. But don't be alarmed. It's all down to the dark sand with a high silica content (the latter, by the way, is very good for the skin). Because of this mineral, the sand takes on a grayish tint, and the water surface does not have a characteristic azure color. Many hotels try to get rid of this "drawback" and fill their beaches with cleaned imported sand or pebbles.

1. Ladies' Mile

The famous Ladies' Mile is the best place for windsurfers. The beach is shallow and windy. And souvenir lovers will find many interesting and beautiful shells here. 2. Curium

Three kilometers from Limassol there is a beach called Dasoudi. There aren't many people here, so it's easy to find a free spot under an umbrella.

A good option for a secluded vacation is Governor's Beach. It is surrounded by indescribably beautiful white cliffs. Tourists rarely come here, and locals come mostly to fish or just to go boating.
