Summer
The summer months are the beginning of Limassol's "high season". The influx of tourists reaches its peak, and social networks are full of statuses "I'm going to Limassol!". The average temperature is +30°C during the day and +22°C at night. In August there is high humidity, mitigated by the sea breeze. It makes no sense to look at the weather forecast in Limassol for 3-5 days in this period: believe me, it will be hot and sunny. The rains come for about three days during the season and are more of a welcome relief from the long-awaited coolness than a disappointment.
Autumn.
Should you go to Limassol in the fall? Of course, because it is the time of the velvet season! Summer continues in September, but in October the crowds gradually thin out. This is the best time for those who like to relax in a secluded and quiet atmosphere. November is still warm, although temperatures can drop to +15°C at night.
Winter.
Winter in the resort is very mild and warm, as indeed it is in the whole of Cyprus. People wear windbreakers or warm knitted sweaters. But it's worth checking the weather in Limassol for 14 days before you go: there are often showers in December and January (during the New Year holidays), although there is no pronounced rainy season in Limassol.
Spring.
Spring in the resort is warm, with average temperatures of +17°C in early March and +20°C in April. In May the swimming season opens, and the weekly weather forecast for Limassol hints at the arrival of summer.
When is it cheaper to go to Limassol?
The most economical holiday in Cyprus is possible in the "low season": November, winter months and the first half of March. The air temperature does not allow to sunbathe and swim in the sea, but there are sunny days outside the window. It's a great time for walking along the seaside, sightseeing and touring the island.
