Limassol offers plenty of water-based activities for those who don't want to spend their time idly lounging on the beach.
The Ayios Tikhonas area is home to the Sailing Center, the Ladies' Mile beach is home to windsurfers, and Limassol's Pissouri Bay beach is home to wakeboarders. An excellent wakesurfing school can also be found on Pissouri. The local instructors promise that in just three lessons you'll be kite surfing like a true sea wolf!
The cost is 100 EUR. The center of water-skiing in Limassol is also the pier of St. Raphael. In addition, on almost every beach you can play volleyball, tennis, ride on "bunions" and "bananas".
Average cost of entertainment on the water in Limassol:
- parasailing - 40 EUR (30 EUR for two persons);
- riding on a "banana" and "teddy" - 15 EUR;
- jet ski - 40 EUR for 15 minutes;
- catamaran - 20 EUR per hour;
