Amathus: Ruins of an ancient Greek city founded more than 2000 years ago. On the Limassol sightseeing map, you will find them near the hotel of the same name. According to legend, the city was founded by the father of Adonis - the first king of Cyprus, Kinir. The first excavations at this place began in the first half of the XIX century. But until now, archaeologists are still finding new artifacts and treasures in Amathus. The complex of ruins includes a part of the city wall, a basilica, a port, an acropolis, and a temple of Aphrodite. The attraction can be reached by bus number 30.

Limassol Castle: where Richard the Lionheart himself was married. Today it is home to a museum of the Middle Ages, featuring exhibits reflecting the culture and life of the Cypriot people: an olive oil press, knights' armor, weapons, and interior decorations. Entrance to the castle costs 2 EUR.

Colossi Castle: Built by the Knights Templar in the 13th century. There is an observation deck with a magnificent view of the city's surroundings. From here, you can get great photos against the backdrop of the Limassol landmark. It is believed that it was in the cellars of Kolossi that the famous Cypriot wine "Kommandaria" was first started to be made. Entrance to the castle is 2.5 EUR.

KEO Winery: Whose products have been known worldwide for over half a century. KEO is the largest exporter of wines, liqueurs, beers, juices, mineral water in Cyprus. The factory can be reached by buses #19 and 30. An hour tour with a local guide, including tasting of elite wines, is free of charge. By the way, here you can buy elite wine "Kommandaria" much cheaper than in stores (about 30 EUR).
