Start your walk in Alghero from Piazza Duomo, where you will find the Basilica of Santa Maria and the adjacent Museo Diocesano. From Via Roma, behind the cathedral, there is Via Carlo Alberto, where the church of San Francesco and the beautiful old monastery are located. Going further, it is impossible not to notice the symbol of the city, which is printed on all postcards and magnets - the Church of San Michele.
Another option for a walking route around Alghero can be taken from the Valencia promenade to the side that leads to Piazzale Balaguer. There you will find the incredibly beautiful Palace Hotel Las Tronas. On the way you will see chic villas with lush green gardens. And you can finish the route in Piazala Balaguer, where you can admire the ancient palace.
A separate tourist route in Alghero is worth a visit to Cape Capo Cacha and the Noah's Ark Reserve.
