To navigate the slopes and descents in the town more easily, it's recommended to use the Breuil-Cervinia ski trail map. A unique feature of this region is that it consists of two resorts: one Italian — Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche, and the other — the Swiss town of Zermatt.
The ski resorts shown on the Breuil-Cervinia map are the highest in the entire Italian region. The towns of Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche are located at 2050 m and 1524 m above sea level, respectively. Valtournenche also serves as the administrative center of the resort and is significantly larger than its neighboring town. There is a regular bus connection between the towns, and the journey takes about 15 minutes.
The town itself is surrounded by four majestic peaks: Monte Rosa, Breithorn, Castore, and Matterhorn. Each of them rises to around 4000 meters.
