We recommend starting your shopping tour in Genoa from the main street, Via XX Settembre. Here, you will find brand boutiques such as Armani Collezioni, Sisley, Fernanda Zanotto, Adidas, Nike, Promos, Magli, as well as a large number of souvenir shops, bookstores, and antique shops.
Also located on Via XX Settembre is the famous Mercato Orientale (Eastern Market), and at the intersection with Via Galata, you'll find a flea market. Via Roma is another luxurious street in the city with boutiques and ateliers such as Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Tod's, and more. At Piazza Matteotti, near the Doge's Palace, a local goods fair is held every second weekend of the month.
One of the largest shopping centres in Genoa is Fiumara, near the Sampierdarena train station. It is open 24 hours a day and has a large baby park, entertainment centre, cinema, restaurants and cafés.
La Rinascente is another shopping centre in Genoa, with Converse, Dsquared2, Fornarina, Emanuel Ungaro, Juicy Couture and other brands. The UPIM chain is also present in Genoa. Unlike La Rinascente, this Genoa outlet is almost devoid of luxury brands; Upim is known for its affordable prices and regular sales.

The outlet is near Genoa, about 30 kilometres away. It can be reached by taxi for around 90 EUR but it is much cheaper to go to Scrivia train station first and take a local bus there.
