Holidays with children in Padua

A holiday with children in Padua is not the purpose of a trip worth organising. Usually tourists use Padua as an inexpensive place to stay, and for entertainment go to neighbouring major cities. However, if you're looking for somewhere to take your child along with you, Padua has something for the young ones as well.

One of the first things you should do is visit the local botanical garden. Not just a world class garden, it is considered one of the oldest in Europe and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition to the various animals and marvellous vegetation, the Butterfly Arc, a butterfly garden of all shapes, sizes and colours, is a great attraction for children.

The family can relax in Parco Milcovich near the city centre. While the children play in the playgrounds, parents can have a picnic or relax on a bench in the shade of the trees.

Amusement is the most famous amusement park in Padua. The park has amusement rides, playgrounds and other attractions for children. Another amusement park is the Parco Padovaland.
