One of the places of interest in Riccione is Villa Mussolini. Riccione gained international fame as a luxury resort thanks to the fact that the dictator travelled here since 1934. The first museum of tourism is definitely remembered by all the guides when they tell about the sights of Riccione in Russian. After the Second World War the villa was taken over by the state and a little later there was a restaurant. It was finally restored and designated a museum in 1997.
