There are 2 airports in the Polish capital:

  • Frederic Chopin (WAW) - the main "air gateway" of Poland, located in the Okencze neighborhood;
  • Modlin (WMI) - used mainly by low-cost carriers, located 49 kilometers from the center of Warsaw. One of the bases of the airline Ryanair.

How to get to Fryderyk Chopin Airport

  • By Szybka Kolej Miejska (SKM) train. The carrier serves two lines running through the city center: S2 and S3. They are part of the Warsaw transportation system and all types of tickets are valid.
  • By cab. A trip from the center will cost you about 40 zł (€9).

How to get to Modlin airport

  • By train of Koleje Mazowieckie company to Modlin station (40 minutes) and then by bus to the airport (10 minutes). Buses leave every 20-30 minutes, their schedule is coordinated with the arrival and departure schedule of flights. Tickets cost from 19 zł (€4.5).

Krakow

How to get to Kraków-Balice Airport

  • WRO AIRPORT EXPRESS bus. It runs from the Central Railway Station through the city center (Plac Dominikański). Travel time is about 30 minutes and the ticket costs 10 zł (€2.3).
  • By cab. A trip from the city center will cost 45-55 zł (€10-13), from the Central Railway Station - 50-60 zł (€12-14).

Poznan-Lawica Airport (POZ) is located 7 kilometers from the city center. From here you can cheaply fly to Alicante, Stockholm, Tel Aviv, Dublin, Oslo and other cities.

Lublin Airport (LUZ) is about 10 kilometers from the center. From here you can fly cheaply to London, Munich, Stockholm, Milan, Budapest and other cities.

How to get to Lublin from Kyiv

  • By train from the central railway station (pl. Dworcowy 1). Travel time is 16 minutes, ticket costs 5.3 zł (€1.3) at the ticket office or 13.3 zł (€3) from the conductor.
  • By bus Przewozy24.pl from the bus station (ul. Tysiąclecia 8). Travel time is 20 minutes, ticket costs 10 zł (€2.3) from 6:00 to 22:00 or 20 zł (€4.6) at other times.
  • City bus #005. The ticket costs 4 zł (€1).
  • By cab for 45-55 zł (€10-15).
