  • For crossing the road in an inappropriate place - fine of SGD 500;

  • Chewing gum is forbidden;
  • It is forbidden to swim in the sea at night;
  • It is forbidden to eat in the streets;
  • It is forbidden to feed stray animals.

Medications in Singapore are sold by prescription only. If you are bringing any medication, be sure to bring a prescription and a certificate of illness. Always carry a copy of your passport - tourists are often checked on the streets.
