Hiking in Benidorm

Benidorm can be explored on foot. And it is during the walk that you will get the best feel of the city.

Many travelers who are not visiting Benidorm for the first time prefer to go on a self-guided walking tour rather than an organized sightseeing tour.

The city can be divided into two parts: old and new. Walking through the historic part of Benidorm, you will get to Spain XVII-XIX centuries. with narrow streets the width of one knight's lance. There is the church of St. Jaime, the ancient Iberian settlement of Tossal de Cala, the "Balcony of the Mediterranean" - a viewing platform on the cliff separating the beaches of Levante and Poniente, as well as the ruins of the observation tower Torre Morales Escaletes (XVI century).

The new part of Benidorm is a typical modern city with high-rise buildings, business centers, supermarkets, souvenir stores, many fashionable stores and restaurants. The central artery of the city is its waterfront, which stretches for 6 km.
