Renting a car gives you complete freedom of movement not only in Port de Pollença but throughout Mallorca. To rent a vehicle, you will need an international driving licence and at least three years of driving experience. Only adults are allowed to drive, so if you are under 21, you will not be able to rent a car.
Car rental prices in Mallorca start from 30 EUR per day. Most companies require a 200 EUR deposit, although some offer rentals without a deposit.
It is not advisable to rent a car directly at the airport. Car hire in Mallorca will be cheaper if you use one of the specialised rental centres. There are two such centres in Port de Pollença:
