Miami's public transportation
There are several options: bus, Metrorail elevated railroad, or Metromover (small automated cars). Metrorail consists of 23 stations - this mode of transportation connects all the major tourist spots in and around the city. For example, by taking the Orange Line, you can get to downtown Miami, Dadeland Mall, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Lowe Art Museum, and a ton of other spots.
We would like to advise tourists about transportation in Miami. You can get to Miami Beach from the Northside Metro station (downtown) by bus #79, from Downtown - by bus #101. Bus stops are marked with green signs and pictures of buses, and the numbers of Miami public transportation that stop there are also posted.

Ticket prices for transportation in Miami are democratic - 2 USD for a bus or subway ride, and free on the MetroMover.
