Mount Buller is situated on the eastern slopes of the Delatite mountain range, approximately a three-hour drive from Melbourne. Its history dates back to 1954 when the first cable car was constructed. Today, Buller stands as one of the top ski resorts in Australia, attracting around 300,000 visitors during the season. The skiing areas are positioned at altitudes ranging from 1,390 to 1,790 meters, featuring 62 slopes, with half of them catering to intermediate skiers. There are 22 lifts connecting the slopes, including 8 chairlifts and 14 rope tow elevators. Buller offers four parks for skiers and snowboarders. Koflers Park and RiderX Park are popular among freestyle skiing enthusiasts, equipped with features for practicing tricks. Skyline Park provides a jump training track, while Summit Park boasts the resort's largest rail and jump zone. For families, Buller has a children's center that includes a ski school for young athletes aged three to six and a nursery for babies over three months, supervised by caregivers. Visitors of all ages can enjoy activities like dog sled rides, toboggan slides, and team snowball fights.
