The town is relatively small. Everything you need is within walking distance. But transportation in Buller is represented by buses and cabs. Buses run from 8am to 6pm on weekdays and until 12am on weekends. The fare is free of charge. The red route runs from the central square, with its terminus at the resort's ski school. The blue route runs from the same square and ends at the highest point of the mountain that cars can reach - at the Arlberg Hotel. A yellow bus runs through the town.
To get from the parking lot to the town, you can take a cab. It costs 22 AUD for an adult and 12 AUD for a child. Each passenger can carry two pieces of ski equipment free of charge. Each additional one costs an additional 8 AUD.
