Nessebar: The nearest airport

Burgas Airport, also known as Sarafovo (named after the adjacent settlement), is one of the largest airports in Bulgaria. Alongside Varna Airport, it has been welcoming numerous guests to the country's Black Sea resorts for many years. It holds the title of the largest charter airport in Bulgaria. In 2004, it was even recognized as the best airport in the country.

Burgas Airport features a VIP lounge where you can comfortably spend your time before your flight. The bank branch is located on the second floor of the arrivals area, and currency exchange offices and ATMs are available throughout the airport. Car rental companies (EUROPCAR, SIXT, Hertz, and others) have their offices in the publicly accessible areas of the arrivals zone. There is also a luggage wrapping service available for a fee of 10 BGN.

The airport map shows that there is a fast-food restaurant with a spacious terrace, a café, an ice-cream café, the pizzeria «Incanto», as well as the Belgian brand «Belgaufra» and the local delicacies shop «Bakaleia». At the «1 minute» shop, you can purchase all necessities for a beach holiday, as well as accessories for water activities. Duty-free shops «Heinemann» are located in the departure hall on the 1st and 2nd floors, and also in the arrivals hall.

A special play area for passengers with children has been set up in the sterile zone of the departure hall.

For passengers with reduced mobility, the airport provides special assistance in accordance with European Union regulations.
