Whichever part of the resort you find yourself in, you will still be able to appreciate the restaurants of Nessebar. They are presented in sufficient numbers, both in the Old and in the New Town. You should consider that in the fast-developing mainland part of the town there are a lot more institutions, though the institutions of the island part still captivate by their exterior design.
In Nessebar you can find Bulgarian, Greek, Chinese and Armenian cuisine. The portions are large, sometimes you can take a soup for each person and a salad or hot meal for two. The prices are very decent!
One of the best restaurants in Nessebar is located in one of the ancient romantic corners of the Old Town. The charming Zornitsa restaurant consistently draws the attention of resort visitors. Only here will you find an amazing one-kilogram platter of local fish at a quite reasonable price. Additionally, based on guest reviews, we recommend not missing the chance to try the intriguingly named dish, “Mermaid’s Legs.”
It’s also easy to find a reasonably priced restaurant with excellent cuisine in Nessebar. For instance, at the Ethno-Restaurant “Aquamarin,” located at the very beginning of the Old Town, you can enjoy a delightful tarator (Bulgarian cold soup) as well as an incredibly tasty satch (a dish made from various types of meat and vegetables). You can leave the restaurant fully satisfied while spending a relatively modest amount. The average bill for two is 60 BGN. Remember, it is customary to leave a minimum of 10% tip for the waitstaff.
