The ski slopes map of Ruka includes two main ski areas, East and West Ruka. It covers 34 ski slopes, accessed by 21 elevators. Their length is from 140 to 1300 meters, height difference from 30 to 201 meters. We recommend to pay attention to the eastern part for beginners and alpine skiers with average skiing skills. But the western slopes should be oriented towards professionals. There is a separate park with special slopes for children.
Pay attention to other ski resorts on the map. First of all, it is located 30 km away from the skiing area of Kuusamo resort. Often travel companies combine these two resorts, offering a vacation to Kuusamo-Ruka. It is also worth asking about other ski resorts in Finland on the map.
