You can buy a ski pass to Ruka online at site or directly at the ticket office in the VuosselinPortti or Piste ski areas. By the way, you can buy a ski pass that will be valid for Ruka and the neighboring resort of Pyhya. Or you can buy a ski pass for Ruka only, which is a bit cheaper.
Please note that the resort is running a pre-sale of the ski pass (until December 6, 2015). During this time you can buy it cheaper than the regular price. The price of a ski pass also depends on the skier's age.
The presale ski pass price for Ruka alone costs 240 EUR for children under 11 and adults over 65, 340 EUR for children 12-17 and 400 EUR for adults. A shared ski pass for the two resorts costs 259 EUR, 366 EUR and 430 EUR respectively. The regular price for ski passes (from December 7, 2015) will be 269 EUR, 378 EUR, 445 EUR for Ruka resort respectively and 288 EUR, 407 EUR, 479 EUR for the two resorts.
Please note that children under 6 years old ski free of charge. There is also a special price for group passes (from 15 people), which must be booked in advance. Reduced prices are offered during the low season: from October 1 to December 17 and from May 2 to May 9.
In case of bad weather conditions the elevators are closed and the ski pass is non-refundable.
