The fauna of Deauville is quite diverse, although large ungulates and predators can no longer be found here. The richest wildlife is found in the mountains. If you are lucky, you may spot such a unique creature of Deauville as the “peacock eye” butterfly, with a wingspan of up to 15 centimeters.
