The Berlin Zoo
The Berlin Zoo the largest in the world, is unparalleled! It's the perfect place to bring your child first and let them see 1,500 species of animals (pandas are particularly popular - these bears are rare to find outside of China).
The zoo has many relaxation areas and playgrounds, and for 4 EUR, you can rent a cart to transport your little one - be prepared for a full-day outing here! The zoo is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (until 5:00 p.m. in winter), and tickets cost 20 EUR for adults and 10 EUR for children.
Aquadom
In addition, there is a three-story building called the AquaDom on the premises. The first floor houses fish, the second is dedicated to reptiles, and on the third floor, you can see rare insects.
Circus Cabuwazi
Among other children's entertainment options in Berlin, there is Circus Cabuwazi. It is one of the largest children's and youth circuses in Europe, constantly touring not only in Germany but also performing on international stages. Around 650 young artists train within the circus's walls, and its program is always vibrant and diverse.
Museum of Natural History
Naturkundemuseum, where dinosaur skeletons are exhibited. Visitors can even create a model of an extinct reptile themselves!
Amusement parks
There are several amusement parks you can visit in Berlin. You can go to Jack's Fun World, an indoor amusement park, or visit the LEGO Discovery Center located at Potsdamer Straße 4. Another option is to take a trip to the town of Brizen and enjoy the Tropical Islands water park.
Outdoor recreation
If you're looking for budget-friendly outdoor activities, enjoy nature in parks such as Tiergarten (where you can feed squirrels) or Hasenheide Park (which features a lake with swans and even a free mini-zoo with camels and llamas!).
