How to get to Berlin from the airports

How to get to the city center

Public transport

Buses run from the port to the city. You can view timetables, routes and prices on the website.

A TXL JetExpressBus departs from the airport every 10 minutes from 05:00 to 23:00. The final stop is Alexanderplatz, here is the train station S-Bahn and the metro station U-Bahn. The bus also passes the central railway station of Berlin Hauptbahnhof.

  • Stop. Buses stand 80 m from the airport exit, follow the Airport Tegel Berlin Bus Station sign.

  • Fare: 2.7 EUR.

How to get to the railway station and bus station

You can get to the railway station Hauptbahnhof by taxi, transfer, as well as the TXL JetExpressBus. See route information above.

To the bus station. The stop is called Messe Nord/ICC (Witzleben). Walk from it to the bus station Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof Berlin - 3 minutes on foot. Can be reached:

  • By TXL JetExpressBus to the S-Bahn stop Beusselstraße, then by train.

  • By bus X9 JetExpressBus to the S+U Jungfernheide Bhf stop, then by train.

How to get to the city center

From Schönefeld Airport you can get to the city by train, bus or taxi. Travel time is about 30 minutes.

  • Routes. Routes No. 171 and N7 (at night) go to the center to the metro station (U-Bahn) Hermannplatz.
