Mount Herzl, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Hizkiyahu Tunnel, the Old City and many other must-see places are in our review.

Herzl Mountain (Har ha-Zikaron): Yad Vashem Museum (Holocaust Museum), Israel's national cemetery (where military and prominent figures of the country are buried). Entrance to the mountain and the museum is free. From Sunday to Wednesday, the museum is open from 9:00 to 17:00, from 9:00 to 20:00 on Thursday, and from 9:00 to 14:00 on Friday and pre-holidays.

Gethsemane Garden (place of Jesus Christ's prayer on the night of his arrest): Church of All Nations, Tomb of the Virgin Mary, Russian Orthodox Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Gethsemane Grotto. Visiting time: from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.

Hizkiyahu Tunnel (City of David Archaeological Park complex) - for over 2,500 years has been used to bring water from the Gion Spring to the Shiloach reservoir in East Jerusalem. It is open from 09:00 to 17:00. The ticket price is 24 ILS.

Tower of David is an ancient fortress where you can learn all about the history of Jerusalem. It is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. In the summer, you can see the "Night Mystery" show on Fridays.

Old City (the oldest part of Jerusalem): Temple Mount, Wailing Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Dome of the Rock, al-Aqsa Mosque. It consists of four neighborhoods: Muslim, Christian, Jewish, and Armenian.

The Dome of the Rock mosque (Temple Mount) is Jerusalem's calling card. According to legend, from this 20-meter high rock, the prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven. The Museum of Islamic Art is also located here. The ticket price is 40 ILS.

The Wailing Wall is a pilgrimage site for millions of tourists asking for wish fulfillment. In order for a wish to come true, one must only face the wall. Once a month, all wish notes are collected and buried on the Mount of Olives. It is allowed to approach the Wall only after ablution (it is enough to wash hands in a specially designated place). Women approach the Wall from the right, men from the left.

Mount of Olives. Here is the most expensive cemetery in the world - places on it cost millions. It is believed that the Messiah, coming to Jerusalem, will first of all go to this cemetery, collect the souls, and they will be the first to enter paradise. Instead of flowers, stones are brought here.

To have time to take photos of all the sights, use a special Jerusalem map or an electronic map with the names.
